9 rules of songwriting
There are no rules. But a few suggestions can’t hurt.
The best things to create are the ones that don’t exist, but should.
Repetition can be incredibly useful. But repeat repetition too much and the repetition becomes repetitive and being repetitive is boring and repetitive.
Try not to be repetitive.
Too short is better than too long.
Technique is more important than equipment.
