Creator is more important than content. Genre, themes, settings, even style: don’t matter half a drunk turkey without imagination, flair, ideas, creativity. Anyone who can genuinely do that ought to be able to do it on everything they create.
Competence thresholds make it a little ambiguous, but it’s a reasonable bet that creator is more important than medium as well.
